Ride Home Safely with Kawasaki and Waze

Shah Alam, Selangor, 30 May 2017 – In conjunction with the upcoming Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebration, Kawasaki Motors (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. (KMSB) would like to take this opportunity to remind all motorcyclists to do maintenance and service their motorcycles before heading to their respective hometowns. The ease of locating the closest Kawasaki Exclusive Service Centre (KESC) and Kawasaki Pit Stop (KPS) is further enhanced with our recent collaboration with Waze. As of 24th April 2017, KESC and KPS nationwide locations have been updated in Waze and will pop up (as Waze Pin) when you search within the vicinity of the selected KESCs and KPSs.

Recently, the Malaysian Institute of Road Safety Research (MIROS) has shared the road accident statistics from 1997 to 2016 and the number is increasing. The majority of these accidents involve motorcycles. As the preferred mode of transport among Malaysians is still the motorcycle, we wish to place an emphasis on safety. At Kawasaki, safety is our main priority and concern. We want our riders to reach their destination safely wearing proper riding gear.

Below are examples of a rider wearing proper riding gear:

Accidents can happen at anytime, anywhere and can also be due to factors such as negligence or lack of proper maintenance on the vehicle, lack of focus while on the road, bad weather or other factors.

Be a responsible rider and bring your motorcycles for maintenance service now. Keep yourself and other road users safe. Don’t be a hazard on the road and ride safely. Your family awaits you at the end of your journey.

“Let the good times roll”
